Colin was born and raised in Papillion, Nebraska. Since graduating from law school his practice has focused solely on transactional law, concentrating on Estate Planning, Business, and Real Estate Law. Colin works with clients from a variety of backgrounds including young working families with children to more established individuals, couples, business owners, and farmers and ranchers. Colin assists clients with estate plans from their basic needs to the more advanced strategies of wealth transfer and asset protection. He also works with business owners to form and maintain their businesses, as well as retiring owners who wish to find the most optimal way to sell the business or preserve it for future generations. Colin currently resides in Elkhorn, Nebraska with his wife, Liz, an OB-GYN in Omaha.

Outside the office, Matt has been married to his wife, Courtney, since 2004. They have two children: Kenley (16) and Grant (14). In his free time, Matt enjoys traveling, golfing, coaching, and spending time with family and friends.

Ashley is a dedicated and multifaceted paralegal with several years experience in estate planning law, specifically in trust administration and probate. She currently assists with several aspects of the firm including estate settlement, trust funding, and legal drafting.
Ashley earned her paralegal certificate in 2023, graduating with honors and bringing a variety of skills and experiences to her role at Kastrick Law. Prior to transitioning to the legal profession in 2019, Ashley worked for over ten years in international education where she taught English and college writing in several countries around the world. Teaching cultivated her ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively, a skill she now applies with clients in her legal work.
In her free time, Ashley acts as a legal volunteer with The Center for Immigrant and Refugee Advancement (CIRA) helping immigrants and refugees in the community. You can probably find her with an iced coffee in her hand, traveling with her family, or watching true crime TV.

Julie resides in Louisville, Nebraska, with her boyfriend, Brandon, and enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.

Morghan has been with the firm since November 2023 and consistently demonstrates dedication and initiative in her role as a Legal Assistant. With several years of experience in the legal field, she plays a key role in supporting the firm’s operations and legal matters.
In addition to her legal career, she enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2020 and continues to serve. Outside of her professional and military roles, she enjoys spending time with family, her fiancé Alex, and their dog.

Shelby was born and raised in small-town Nebraska. After earning her college degree in 2019, she relocated to Omaha, where she built a successful career in the hospitality industry and upholstery services. Over the course of six years, she played an integral role in launching and managing several restaurant openings across the Omaha metro area, gaining valuable experience in client service, communication, and operations.
In August 2025, Shelby joined the firm as a receptionist. She leverages her client relations skills to support the firm’s attorneys and staff with daily administrative tasks.
Outside of work, Shelby enjoys exploring new creative outlets, watching crime documentaries, and spending quality time with her boyfriend and friends.”
